New Findings from Electronic Cigarette Studies


Electronic cigarette studies are finding that the high-tech alternative to tobacco cigarettes is considerably safer than it's traditional counterpart. Enthusiasts who've taken to these battery-powered providers of nicotine have long championed the products for not containing the harmful carcinogens associated with smoking.

Study Findings


Fortunately, a new study conducted by the Boston University School of Public Health (BUSPH) finds that, "Few, if any" of the ingredients found in e-cigarettes "raise serious health concerns."  Within this study, it was determined that e-cigarettes contain far less carcinogens -- and tobacco cigs contain a staggering 1,000 times greater amount.  Of course, the verdict is still out as to whether or not electronic cigarettes can truly be deemed a "healthy" product, but the prevailing opinion appears to be that these products are likely to be better for you, as a source of nicotine, than the standard cigarette.  We predict that more and more research will come out that will confirm what fans across the globe have already been saying -- the e-cigarette isn't evil and is a viable alternative to tobacco cigarettes.  This latest study that portrays electronic cigarettes in a positive light may perhaps be the most reputable one to date and will be printed in the Journal of Public Health Policy.
